Lightbulb New Skill Idea - Infuse Minion

I was just looking through the skills for Ritualist and how they summoned spirits to the battlefield. And I thought, they infuse things with spirits, like weapon spells, right? And then I thought, there are Rt/N Minion Masters, which should be quite powerful considering Rits summon stuff. And then, bear with me, I wondered, if they could infuse weapons, couldn't they infuse the minions with souls?

Infuse Minion

5e, 3/4 cast, -1 upkeep, 10 sec recharge

Attribute: Spawning Power

Target minion gains health regeneration equal to its natural degeneration, and deals 1..17 more damage with its attacks.

And because it has an upkeep, you can probably only use it on one or two minions, so maybe keep a Fleshy up. I'd appreciate some feedback, and any ideas related to this.

* Of course, if you've infused a minion with a soul, it becomes much more intelligent, I think it should get slightly improved AI - it can detach from a target, it will only attack what you're attacking.

There is a specific tread for skill sugestions, guess where this should have been posted.

Why is't that a sticky yet anyways?

Also a skill the ritualist can't use usless it has a certain secondairy professions is bad, some ritualist skills affect spirits and minions, 'and' is all it should stick to.

Also its a sustained enchantment those are assassin and monk terf, each class has a certain amount of skill types they should stick to, and Anet will hopefully not have any skils for any profession that are lost somewhere among the wrong type.

Not that I would not love to keep my fleshy or other minions allive forever, its just not the way it should work. I'm advocing for a profession that supports its pets instead of having to support an army of pets or the pet supporting them, that way you could have a single(or 2-3) pets that does not have too degenerate heath.

That doesnt seem to be an awfully organized thread, and everyone else seems to be posting their skill ideas here.

This is a skill that means you can only keep one or two alive (because of the upkeep), and I think it would make Rt/Ns more interesting (especially a line of similar skills). Also, there's a Rit skill Vocal was Sogolon, which really doesn't help you at all unless you use Paragon shouts and chants, so there.

And you could also change it to every time that minion attacks (or is attacked) you lose one energy.

So yeah, I agree, a spell that's specifically for Rt Nec is not cool.
Then you'll get every Rt monk asking for one
And Rt ranger.....then down the road, every class combination will want one.

What does it matter keeping a fleshy alive, you can just recreate him as soon as he falls as it is. Plus, with all the healing options out there, even jsut blood of the master, most necros should be able to keep minions alive indefinately.

Vocal was Sogolon affects chants and shouts, warrior paragon or ranger+ future classes.

To Crush, well, 1 whole thread of suggestions for new skills is sorta anti discussion, and generally defeats the purpose of posting them in the first place(get them individual attention/development)

Yeah, but the Rit and Necro are real connected with their relation to Grenth, and they have a similar function of summoning allies on the battlefield, and I'm pretty sure Anet had minions in mind when they were making Spawning Power (or else it would have just affected Spirits).

It's a vague concept, which is why I posted, to get some ideas for improvement.
